A Father's Love in Poetic Form

He held me in his arms with tenderness,

A love so strong and true,

And though the years have passed us by,

That love remains anew.

My father taught me how to walk,

And catch a ball with ease,

He showed me how to be a man,

And always aim to please.

Through laughter, tears, and heartache,

He's been there by my side,

To guide me through life's challenges,

And help me find my stride.

He's let me make my own mistakes,

And learned from them as well,

He's given me the freedom to explore,

And find my own story to tell.

As I've grown and faced new challenges,

His love has never waned,

He's seen me through so much in life,

And helped me stay unchained.

So here's to you, dear father,

On this special day of praise,

Your love has shaped me from within,

And has filled my heart with grace.

May you know the depth of my gratitude,

And the love that I feel inside,

For all the sacrifices you've made,

And for the fatherly love you provide.

For all these things and so much more,

I raise my voice in cheer,

To celebrate the love of a father,

And all that he holds dear.

For the love of a father is eternal,

A gift that never fades,

And though the years may pass us by,
